PATIENT

1) Right to Benefit from Services


Our patients who receive health services and their relatives have the right to benefit from all services regardless of language, religion, race or sect, and to be informed about the diagnosis and treatment possibilities offered by our hospital and how to access these services.


2) Right to Request Information


Our patients have the right to be informed about the recommended medical interventions and the potential risks or benefits of each intervention, alternatives, and the consequence of refusing treatment.


3) Right to Recognize, Select and Change Personnel


Our patients have the right to learn, choose and change the identities, duties and titles of doctors, nurses and other healthcare personnel responsible for their own treatment.


4) Right to Choose and Change the Institution and Organization


Our patients have the right to choose and evaluate the health institution and organization, provided that the procedures and conditions stipulated by the legislation are complied with.


5) Right to Refuse and Stop Treatment


Apart from the legally obligatory cases and as well as the responsibility of the negative consequences that may arise, the patient has the right to refuse or request to stop the treatment planned or applied to him.


6) Right to Privacy


Our patients have the right to receive services in an environment suitable for privacy during the entire treatment process. The health status, medical condition and all personal information of all individuals applying to our hospital are kept confidential even after their death.


7) Right to Respect


Our patients have the right to be examined and treated in a respectful, compassionate and friendly environment, at all times and under all conditions, while preserving their personal reputation.


8) Right to Ask for Consultation (Second Meeting)


Our patients have the right to call a consultant physician for diagnosis and treatment. The consultant recommends the treatment, but the patient's primary physician approves the procedure.


9) Right to Fulfill Religious Obligations


Our patients have the right to freely fulfill their religious obligations regardless of religious differences, as long as they do not prevent treatment.


10) Right to Security


Everyone has the right to be safe in the health institution and to demand it.


11) Right to Have Companions and Visitors


Our patients have the right to receive visitors and have companions in accordance with the procedures and principles determined by our hospital.


12) Right to Request Determination of Priority Order


In cases where the possibilities to provide services are limited, the priority right is determined objectively based on medical criteria. Emergency patients, disabled patients, forensic cases, the elderly, children and pregnant women, patients with pain have the right to receive priority care.


13) Right to Communication


A patient who does not understand the official spoken language has the right to request an interpreter for communication purposes, if available and able to pay the price.


14) Right to Express Complaints, Opinions and Suggestions


Patients and their families have the right to initiate, review, conclude and be informed of the result of the complaint mechanism in our hospital in case of violation of patient rights.


15) Consent


Apart from medical and legal obligations, the patient has the right to approve or reject the decisions to be made for his treatment after receiving detailed information about the chance of success of the examination and treatment to be applied, the possible risks and the problems related to the recovery period.



16) Prohibition of Intervention Outside Medical Requirements


Without the purpose of diagnosis, treatment and protection, nothing can be done or demanded that may cause death or life-threatening or violate body integrity or reduce mental or physical strength.


17) Euthanasia ban


Euthanasia is prohibited. The right to life is indispensable, regardless of medical reasons or in any way. No one's life can be terminated, even if it is his or someone else's request.
